About Pathmark Wealth Advisors
Make your wealth meaningful. We start by understanding what our clients value most—their priorities, relationships, and vision for the future. Only when we understand what truly matters to them do we design a financial plan that turns those priorities into achievable goals. Money is the tool we use to make their wealth meaningful, connecting every dollar to the life they want to live.
Being a fiduciary means we are required to do what is the best for the client in all circumstances. It matters because it means all choices we make must be focused on the needs of the clients first and foremost.
We are regulated by the SEC, FINRA, and our Broker-Dealer (Osaic) and our OSJ (Artisan). We are an independent financial planning firm and are not financially supported by any company; this means we alone decide what products and services we provide to our clients.
We work with people who are interested in getting professional advice about how to make their wealth meaningful to them. We focus on the client’s values and give advice on how to serve those values.
What We Do
We create comprehensive financial plans for clients and we provide products to serve those plans.
We employ various companies and platforms to manage investments for clients. We don’t believe any individuals or firms can adequately address the diversification needs of the clients, and we know that asset managers can provide low-cost, diversified assets for clients.
We use tax planning software to assist us to give advice, but we are not tax preparation professionals.
A Certified Divorce Financial Analyst is a financial professional who helps you and your attorney understand how different divorce settlement choices may affect your finances now and later. They specialize in the money side of divorce, including asset division, tax implications, retirement accounts, and financial planning.
How We Work Together
We want to align our compensation with the interests of our clients. Therefore, we generally get compensated as a percentage of their investment assets, subject to a minimum amount. Our ongoing compensation rises as falls as our clients' investments do, which means we tie our success to theirs.
We have a defined, multi-step process that is specifically designed to understand and address the unique values and goals of our clients. The steps are Information Gathering, Feedback, Implementation, and Review.
Yes!
We have a minimum revenue target per client, but not account minimums.
Yes, the tools we use are accessible for our clients to use.
No, we do not hold clients’ investments directly because we don’t believe it is in their best interest that we do so.
Starting Your Journey
We schedule a “FIT” meeting where we discuss our process and get some information about the client. This meeting carries no obligation on either side; we decide after that meeting if there is a fit between the potential client and our process.
No, we do not because we believe that we should give value first, and we only want to have clients who want a long-term professional relationship. Charging to talk to us is detrimental to that prospect.
Definitely. We have about half of our meeting virtually and half in-person, depending on the needs of our client.
